Global Possibility Network

Mission Statement

The Global Possibility Network (GPN) is a research and practice partnership between Penn GSE’s Project for Mental Health and Optimal Development and collaborators around the world. All the collaborations focus on enhancing life possibilities, or possibility development, for children and youth within the contexts of education, work, families, and communities. The overarching aim of the GPN is to create and study possibility development practices within local contexts and to share helpful strategies across the network and beyond.

Vision Statement

The GPN’s long-term goal is to create a network of collaborative partners across every country in the world. The network would share effective practices for enhancing possibilities in all areas of life for young people, including general life satisfaction, educational advancement and career development, economic mobility, and physical and mental health. Our intent is to pursue this goal incrementally, partnership by partnership. Effective practices shared through the network will be supported by research conducted within the partnerships themselves or by related research initiatives.
